DHHS Announces Launch of Innovative Program to Support Business Health of NH Child Care Providers2/5/2024
Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health of Human Services (DHHS) is pleased to announce the launch of Child Care Accelerate, an 8-week intensive business support program created to assist New Hampshire-based child care programs as they strengthen their business operations to ensure long-term success. Developed in partnership with business consultant Seed Collective, Child Care Accelerate will help licensed and license-exempt child care providers across New Hampshire enhance their operational efficiency and financial capacity to increase access to quality child care. NH Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems Health Integration Project Micro-Grant Opportunity12/4/2023
The NH ECCS Health Integration Project is seeking rapid micro-grant applications for funds to enhance existing efforts working to reduce health disparities by increasing connections between families with young children (pregnant through age 3) and necessary health services.
Micro-grants may support one-time purchases, program supplies, training for staff, or events that enhance an existing group’s efforts to connect families to health services. Micro-grant expenditures must be allowable within the parameters of the project’s federal funding and will be reviewed by NH DHHS prior to award. Funds cannot be used to pay for staff, equipment, or supplies that are already fully funded under existing grant programs. Examples of allowable costs include:
