Sad news...

Many in the early childhood field are deeply saddened to learn that Joan Izen, long time early childhood champion and innovator passed away on May 27.  She worked tirelessly to raise the importance of including all children in programs and services -especially in child care.  She was an incredible mentor and colleague and her legacy will continue with those she's inspired.  Her obituary can be found here.
