New Hampshire Center for Non-Profits recently shared this update:
NH DHHS Contract Management Improvement Initiative In a recent letter to providers, DHHS Commissioner Lori Weaver and DHHS CFO Nathan White announced that the Department is actively working on streamlining contracting, reducing administrative burdens, and considering alternative reimbursement models. The letter outlines improvements under consideration that are part of a larger internal initiative to improve contract management and communication with providers. The NH Center for Nonprofits welcomed Commissioner Weaver to engage with nonprofit providers through the Capitol Exchange and has continued to convene discussions between nonprofit leaders and DHHS leadership. “We applaud the NH Department of Health and Human Services for responding thoughtfully and swiftly to feedback from providers about administrative burdens,” noted NH Center for Nonprofits’ CEO Kathleen Reardon. “Efficiency and fair reimbursement are in the best interest of both providers and government so that nonprofits can focus on effective mission delivery.” Comments are closed.
