In April 2023, the NH Supreme Court issued Administrative Order 2023-04 to create the Office of Access and Community Engagement (OACE). The OACE assists the NH Access to Justice Commission in carrying out its duties and “engage relevant stakeholders and community members in expanding access to justice for all in civil and other legal matters in New Hampshire.” To most effectively execute this, the OACE has identified six sub-projects that directly target highest need and focus areas – this collection of subprojects are known as the ARPA-A2J projects. The objective of this session is to introduce the ARPA-A2J Community Navigators Project, expand on our mission and objectives, and collect feedback from key agencies in communities across NH. The ultimate goal is to not reinvent the wheel, but build off of what works and to fill the remaining access to justice gaps and barriers that exist. This is where your feedback is invaluable.
